Amnesty International and Warner Brothers will join forces to release Instant Karma: The Campaign To Save Darfur.

The album, recorded to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis in western Sudan, features Christina's cover of the classic track 'Mother', and will also showcase 19 other interpretations of famous John Lennon songs.Christina joins a star-studded line-up including, Green Day, REM, Snow Patrol and Corinne Bailey Rae - all of whom have stepped up to help this extremely worthy cause.

Lennon's widow Yoko Ono is donating the publishing royalties associated with

the album to help the campaign.

"It's wonderful that, through this campaign, music that is so familiar to many people of my era will now be embraced by a whole new generation," said Ono. "John's music set out to inspire change, and in standing up for human rights, we really can make the world a better place." The CD is released Monday June 25 in the UK.

Great News! Christina has been nominated for a host of gongs at the MTV Australia Video Music Awards which will be held in Sydney on Sunday April 29.

Christina is nominated in 4 categories - 'Ain't No Other Man' is up for Best Pop Video and Video of the Year, while Christina's duet with P-Diddy, 'Tell Me', is nominated for Best Hook-Up. Christina, herself, is also among the nominees for Best Female Artist.

Last weekend Christina beat the likes of Madonna, Beyonce and Shakira at Cannes' prestigious NRJ Music Awards, the French equivaent of The Brits.

Christina picked up the award for 'Best International Female' (beating worthy competition from Madonna, Beyonce and Shakira) as well as the 'Best International Album' gong for 'Back To Basics' (beating the likes of Madonna and Red Hot Chilli Peppers) before going on to deliver a storming performance of 'Ain't No Other Man'.

Christina Aguilera is the latest superstar to be immortalised in wax at the world famous Madame Tussauds in London.

Reflecting the classic, '20s stylings of the number one 'Back To Basics' album Christina's figure will be set in her very own 1920s powder room, complete with vanity mirrors and shimmer curtains - visitors will be able to wax lyrical over one of Christina's trademark ballads by activating an interactive, sing-a-long video from inside the mirror.

The exhibit will be unveiled at the end of November, coinciding with the end of Christina's UK tour and you could be among the first to see it - just click here for your chance to win a family ticket to Madame Tussauds.

One of the most eagerly anticipated records of the year, Christina Aguilera�s stunning new single �Ain�t No Other Man� is set to be one of the definitive sounds of the summer.

Out now as a digital download and set for release on the 31st July as aa physical CD. Christina�s first solo single since 2003, it�s a blistering introduction to the eagerly anticipated, forthcoming LP �Back To Basics�, released August 14th.

Co-written by Christina Aguilera, the album�s sexy, upbeat first single �Aint No Other Man� was produced by Christina and DJ Premier. Recorded at Chalice Studios in Los Angeles, it strikes a vintage sound, which perfectly balances the old and the new and features mixes from Kardinal Beats (Destiny�s Child, Pink) and FULL PHAT (Rhianna, Usher).

�This is a concept album that follows a bold, set vision,� says Christina. �The touchstones are Billie Holiday, Otis Redding, Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald.... what I used to call my �fun music� when I was a little girl.�

The stunning new video was directed by Brian Barber, whose previous credits include: Outkast, Ludacris and Macy Gray.

The new double album �Back To Basics� is Christina�s first since 2002�s critically acclaimed and phenomenally successful �Stripped�, which sold 2 million in the UK alone. Reuniting her with former producer Linda Perry, the LP boasts a dynamic pop sound that is defiantly Christrina, while new collaborators such as DJ Premier also feature.
